Theme Thursdays is a fun weekly event that will be open from one thursday to the next. Anyone can participate in it. The rules are simple:
- A theme will be posted each week (on Thursday’s)
- Select a conversation/snippet/sentence from the current book you are reading
- Mention the author and the title of the book along with your post
- It is important that the theme is conveyed in the sentence (you don’t necessarily need to have the word)
Ex: If the theme is KISS; your sentence can have “They kissed so gently” or “Their lips touched each other” or “The smooch was so passionate”
This will give us a wonderful opportunity to explore and understand different writing styles and descriptive approaches adopted by authors.
This week’s theme is
SORRY / FORGIVENESS
My THURSDAY THEME for SORRY/FORGIVENESS is here.
To abandon her would have been to compound the dishonour; and there was always the firebrand to reckon with.I couldn’t simply say sorry to everybody and go back to what I had been.

Great theme this week, and great “quote” you picked!
This was an awesome theme. I am reading several books and easily found a quote for each of them.
I really like the quote you chose. It rings true.

Great theme! I love that quote, haven’t read Half a Life, but I am definitely checking it out! 🙂

Oh, that’s a good example of times when “sorry” isn’t enough. Thanks!
Hmmm. This one may take a while. I’ll check back in when/if I find something suitable.
Great choice this week!
