About Me

I am 31 years old, happily married and currently living in Virginia. I used to be working in Information technology and one day on the spur of the moment I decided to take a break from my mad schedules. Now I am blissfully at home, reading and exploring my passions.

I have been obsessed with books since I was very young and would rather spend my day reading than anything else in this world.. I can safely call myself an ardent reader. After a terrible day, my idea of relaxation would be lying in the sofa with a cup of tea and reading a fiction novel. I rarely read non-fiction and have very recently started to venture into the world of audio books. For short stories, of-course there are those volumes on my ipod. With my obsession to books and the fact that I do have time in my hands, the next logical step was this blog.

“Reading between pages” is my way of remembering the books I read, rating them and reviewing them. Oh yea !! and also my way of encouraging others to read some of those damn good books that are waiting in the book shelves.

HAPPY READING!!

  1. I wish I could leave everything and do what you are doing… maybe someday .. someway..

  2. Hey Tweetie,
Great to see your blogs, I must admit that I am jealous. On the other hand, I am really happy for you that you finally have decided to take a pause and explore what you really want to do (and in fact you are doing it).

Good luck with reading and blogging. I will try to keep up with it.

    Luv,
    Yush.

    • Thanks Yush! Am glad you liked my blogs.. I have been wanting to do this for a while now so I am excited. I only hope the excitement lasts 🙂

  3. Hello! I write a general lifestyle/travel blog, but I’ve recently gotten interested in book blogs, and yours has given me a ton of good ideas! 🙂 I recently decided to do 10 Book Challenges this year after seeing all your fun challenges. I was wondering if you would mind sharing how you got those polls on the left side of your blog. I would love to have something like that to keep track of my progress for each challenge. Thanks!

  4. I’m glad I found your blog. I too have taken some time to pursue things that are more fulfilling than what I was doing previously. People like you and me are very lucky. Do you write, as well as read?

  5. I don’t know where you are or what has happened to you but I hope you are alright. It has been so long since you posted… someone has taken over your meme, and I worry that you are not well. Pray to God I am wrong.
