Book Blogger Hop: 4/29-5/2 & The Friday 56 – Week 26

Book Blogger Hop In the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and share our love of the written word! This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books! It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs to read! So, grab the logo, post about the Hop on your blog, and start HOPPING through the list of blogs that are posted in the Linky list below!!

1. Enter your book blog link in the Linky List in the main host page
2. Post about the Hop on your blog. In your blog post, answer the following question (new question each week!).
3. Visit other blogs in the Linky List!

“Summer is coming quickly – what 2011 summer release are you are most looking forward to?”

I don’t keep track of new releases but there are a few I am looking forward to this year.

  1. 10th Anniversary by James Patterson – in May (Yes, Had to have a Patterson book.. call me predictable)
  2. The Best of Me by Nicholas Sparks – in Oct (a long long wait)
  3. Born to Die by Lisa Jackson – in July

Friday 56 This is another fun meme.

Friday 56 is hosted by Freda’s voice.

The rules as stated are:
* Grab a book, any book.
* Turn to page 56.
* Find any sentence that grabs you.
* Post it.
* Link it here.

My Friday 56 is from “To Have and To Kill” by Mary Jane Clark.

Built at the turn of the twentieth century, it was a five-story Beaux Arts masterpiece with a white marble facade, intricate carvings, and Ionic columns that flanked the entrance.

  3. sounds like a huge mansion. perfect place for a murder mystery.

  4. Patternson’s not my cup of tea but I know he’s popular. I hope you enjoy his latest book.

    The truth of the matter is I don’t really keep a list of release dates. But there are a few authors with new books coming out that I’m excited about. Come see who they are.

  5. Just hopping by…I love your new blog header!

    And the books you’re awaiting sound really good…I’m so behind on the James Patterson books….I read a couple of Nicholas Sparks books recently, which were really enjoyable.

  6. Cute header.

    Hopping by from the blog hop.

    I am finding so many books that I haven’t heard of.

    Stop by my blog if you like so you can see my answer to this week’s question.
