Book Blogger Hop: 3/18-3/21 & The Friday 56 – Week 20

Book Blogger Hop In the spirit of the Twitter Friday Follow, the Book Blogger Hop is a place just for book bloggers and readers to connect and share our love of the written word! This weekly BOOK PARTY is an awesome opportunity for book bloggers to connect with other book lovers, make new friends, support each other, and generally just share our love of books! It will also give blog readers a chance to find other book blogs to read! So, grab the logo, post about the Hop on your blog, and start HOPPING through the list of blogs that are posted in the Linky list below!!

RULES:

1. Enter your book blog link in the Linky List in the main host page
2. Post about the Hop on your blog. In your blog post, answer the following question (new question each week!).
3. Visit other blogs in the Linky List!

“Do you read only one book at a time, or do you have several going at once?”

I normally used to read only one book but off-late I have at least a couple going. One on my Kindle (Sheru) and another hardcopy. Now, I am having 4 books going. One on my kindle, one hard copy, an e-book and an audio book. Gosh!! I can’t keep track.

Friday 56 This is another fun meme.

Friday 56 is hosted by Freda’s voice.

The rules as stated are:

* Grab a book, any book.
* Turn to page 56.
* Find any sentence that grabs you.
* Post it.
* Link it here.

My Friday 56 is from “After the Leaves Fall” by Nicole Baart. (I just picked this randomly since this is an e-book)

I don’t remember enough of my youth to know what I did and did not understand about death at the age of six. According to how the rest of the story played out, I must have been devastated by the thought that a few of those adorable little chicks had died. Apparently I would not be consoled.

If you are here; don’t forget to take a look at the Theme Thursdays meme. This runs from one Thursday to the next…

  2. Not everyone can multi-task and nobody should. When it comes to book sure, I can’t read four books simultaneously (or even two, for that matter!) but there are times I’ll juggle as many as four books at a time depending on the subject matter, the urgency or more often both.

    The real trick to this is what KINDS of books to juggle. Hop on over to my blog and learn the method behind my madness – http://www.howardshermannet

  6. Hi
    Just hopping by and following through. I can’t read multiple books at once, it would drive me crazy. I guess I read fast enough that I don’t really feel the need to
