Teaser Tuesday – July 20 2010

I have been reading but sparsely. I am going through a phase where I wish that Harry Potter and the magical world really existed, that I could pack, move and unpack with the wave of a wand, that cleaning up when you move out is not an essential and that I could read a great book when I am catching up with my much-needed sleep. Well, I have been extremely busy and barely managed to lay my hands on a book, but on the bright side I will be reviewing the very FEW books I read very soon (hopefully!). Am excited to be back with the Teaser for Tuesdays …

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Here are the rules for participating in this meme..

Grab your current read
Open to a random page
Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My Teaser:

D.D leaned forward. “Tell me, Danielle. Forget the file for a second. It’s you and me, trying to understand what happened to one boy. What made you think Ozzie had hurt someone? Why were you so certain this story had an unhappy ending? Why did he leave?”

Taken from pg 104 “Live to Tell” by Lisa Gardner

  3. That reminds me of the line from Uncle Buck: “What is your record for number of consecutive questions?” 🙂

Here’s my teaser on Rose City Reader.

  4. Great teaser! Hope you get caught up on your rest soon–it’s nice to have you back!
